It appears that PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat once again when games for the service launch on May 5 for 2026. From football games to Soulslikes and drawn anime action, May’s games have a bit of everything.
First up is EA Sports FC 26, the newest entry in EA’s sport that previously went by FIFA. It brings revamped gameplay systems influenced by fan feedback, along with two gameplay styles to choose from: Authentic mode and Competitive Mode.
Players will also be able to jump into Football Ultimate Team, with live events, tournaments, and revamped versions of Rivals and Champs modes. PlayStation Plus users will also get an Icons Pack for free while the game is available for download on PlayStation Plus.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers also joins the lineup, a dark Soulslike that takes place during the last decade of China’s Ming Dynasty. Players assume the role of Wuchang, a pirate warrior cursed with a mysterious power called Feathering.
Combat, exploration, and a progression system where you learn abilities from enemies you defeat will all play into what promises to be a stiff RPG. Last but not least is Nine Sols, a hand-drawn action-platformer inspired by deflection-based games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Players will need to focus on precise timing and exploration as they take on bosses and discover what lies beneath the surface of a world dominated by Elders.
Of course, all three games will be available for download on May 5, giving users the whole month of May to add them to their libraries. As for this month’s games, players will have until May 4 to claim them.
